Who is the Strongest Anime Character?
There have been thousands of anime shows that have been released even before anime was a thing. However, the debate over who is the strongest anime character still hasn’t been solved. There have been games, simulations, and fan art that show cross anime fights to determine who is the strongest, but the opinions are still divided.
Here are my personal top 10 strongest anime characters ever, with a bit of explanation as to why they are considered to be the strongest.
10. Deku (My Hero Academia)
MHA fans might wonder why this ain’t All Might. But we all know that All Might didn’t manage to use all of the past owners’ quirks, so he is bound to be the lesser version of vigilante Deku, who managed to make the past owners’ quirks on their own. Imagine having super strength and super speed with the other 8 quirks. Deku is definitely the strongest in MHA series and definitely one of the strongest in the animeverse
9. Light Yagami (Death Note)
You might be wondering why this human is on this list. So I will explain it to you. One on one? Maybe he will get destroyed by any anime character on this list. However, a two vs. two with Light as the support would be overkill for his enemies! Even in one on one combat, Light would be overpowered. With one word, one kill, and intelligence to boot, Light with a Death Note is definitely one of the strongest characters in the animeverse!
8. Marshall D. Teach (One Piece)
Blackbeard may be crazy, but let’s just admit it, he is the strongest character in One Piece. Without plot armor, how will the other characters manage to kill this guy in a one vs one fight? He can just vacuum and punch an earthquake at his opponents. Pretty OP, right? And on top of his devil fruit powers, he may act dumb, but he is known to be a really cunning and intelligent character. Even Whitebeard could have destroyed the whole One Piece universe; how much more if you added another Logia devil fruit to the mix.
7. Meruem ( Hunter x Hunter)
Without the poison, Meruem would have ruled the Hunter x Hunter verse. Netero, who was supposed to be the strongest character, was smacked and forced to commit suicide by this 40 days old character! He didn’t even reach his full potential, and yet he was already that strong! He is definitely one of the strongest characters in all anime universes.
6. Rimuru tempest (The Time I Was Reincarnated As A Slime)
Who would’ve thought that slime could get this strong? Yeah, that’s right, Rimuru is a cute and adorable slime with godlike powers! He can just devour any of the so-called “demigods” without even breaking a sweat. And these so-called “demigods” are thousands of years old, while he is just 2 or 3 years old in the world where he reincarnated! The anime is still ongoing, so how strong he will become still depends on the author, and if you think he is not that strong right now, then wait a little bit and see.
5. Mob (Mob Psycho 100)
This guy is also a normal human, like Light. He doesn’t have a death note but guess what he has? That’s right, he is a human who has godly psychic powers! This kid, like Saitama, is pretty much a gag character who can level cities and even countries without even blinking. However, the reason he is far off this list is simple. He is a human. A strong cannon whose glass is made out of glass.
4. Aizen (Bleach)
Yamamoto? Nah. For me, the strongest character in the Bleach universe was easily Aizen. One look at his sword, and you’re just dead. How OP is that? His physical strength isn’t even part of this yet; it’s only the basic ability of his sword. And for sure, any Bleach fans know that Bankai is several times more powerful than Shikai. Titi Kubo didn’t even reveal Aizen’s bankai because this would literally shatter his universe.
3. Tetsuo (Akira)
This guy is literally the God of the universe that he created! If this is not OP, then what does OP even mean? His psychic powers are even stronger than those of Mob, who was already pretty strong. A clear evidence of it is that when his power got out of control, he basically collapsed into singularity and then made his way to create an alternative universe!
2. Saitama (One Punch Man)
One punch man. Literally. Saitama, if he wants to, can punch all of his opponents into oblivion. He is the ultimate gag character that is also one of the strongest in the animeverse! He is simply an unstoppable character that can punch any god into oblivion. Spoiler alert, a “god” entered Garous’ body, and he just bodybagged Garou like no one else’s business. Pretty strong, right? And this is only what we’ve seen so far! Saitama hasn’t had any strong opponents that can match up with him, so we can’t really gauge how strong he is exactly. Well, maybe a portal to another anime would help? A Goku vs Saitama match up would be really fun to watch!
1. Zeno (Dragon Ball)
The most adorable character on this list is the one that looks just like a mascot but can delete any of the characters mentioned above from existence! Don’t be fooled by his cute looks; if he wishes so, he can delete an entire universe with even the blink of an eye. Dragon Ball fans don’t even know his physical powers or the full extent of his overall powers yet. But he is clearly the strongest anime character of all time!
